REPLACE: Vaccines and Disorders
NOT FINAL NOT FINAL NOT FINAL
The common understanding is that studies have proven that there is no connection between vaccines and autism and other disorders. Pro-vaccine advocates cite a handful of studies that supposedly exonerate vaccines. There are two key points that debunk this claim:
No double-blind placebo study has ever been done on a vaccine; the studies are flawed by design.
There are a staggering number of studies that do show a connection between vaccines and negative health outcomes.
It is important to clarify that articles on the CDC, FDA, or other similar websites are not studies; they provide policy and “marketing” information based on their priorities and programs. Only published scientific literature can be considered a reliable scientific source – specifically peer-reviewed studies on PubMed and similar sites.
Vaccine safety advocates have been compiling research for decades in an effort to raise awareness. For example:

A white paper with nearly 100 references to studies that support the idea that aluminum adjuvants in vaccines can cause autism:

The 1,600 page (and growing) “Vaccine Guide":
We are frustrated by the claim that we are unscientific and fueled by misinformation, when in fact a very large body of science shows evidence of harm from vaccines. Science is actually on our side.
